Intro to Chess I (45 mins): 3:15 -4:00 PM EST. This fun class focuses on the basics of chess including piece movement, board vision, capturing pieces, check and checkmate. The goal is for students to learn piece movement and the ability to begin a game of chess properly by the end of the 5 week course.
