Wednesday Tournament Chess Class

Wednesday Tournament Chess Prep (75 min): 5:45 – 7:00 PM EST

This class is exclusively for chess players who are USCF rated and playing in tournaments on a regular basis. This is an excellent class to prepare students for the upcoming School Year and National Chess Events Students will be grouped by rating. We’ll cover more advanced openings and endgame strategies and delve into complicated tactics and strategies. Students will be introduced to the concept of candidate moves and the importance of keeping several move options in mind. There will be a lesson followed by formal play in our private chess arena. Games will be reviewed by coaches. This is an excellent class to keep your skills sharp after the major scholastic events have concluded. 

National Master Abby Marshall will be chess instructor who will teach the class
