Friday Endgames is back! 5:30 – 6:30 PM EST

Our most popular Summer Class is back. The endgame is the most decisive part of the chess game and requires accuracy and precision to play. Many games are won, lost or drawn in the endgame and knowledge is paramount to success in chess. There are few pieces on the board but many players, especially at the scholastic level, lack the endgame knowledge to reach the next level. Players gain confidence when they can liquidate their position to an endgame they know they can win.

This class is for chess players looking to build upon their endgame knowledge and look at amazing tactics that can occur in all stages of the game. We will work on calculation skills and board vision, including some blindfold exercises! We will have special targeted, private arenas on LiChess where students will practice the skills learned in the class against one another. The clinic will be led by Endgame and tactics champion, National Master Abby Marshall
